About Affan Bajwa – Senior UX/UI Designer

Hi, I am Affan Bajwa

Senior UX/UI Designer with 8+ years of experience, based in Sialkot, Pakistan and working remotely.

I design web and mobile products for complex, data-heavy domains, including regulated FinTech, GovTech, Web3, B2B SaaS, and retail point-of-sale. I've worked with founders, product managers, and engineering teams to build scalable design systems and take products from wireframe to running prototype. A Computer Science degree and hands-on development background mean my designs reach engineering already grounded in what is technically feasible.

Outside client work, I design and build my own products: Threshyr, a private, offline-first time tracker for Windows and macOS, and Missile Dodge 2D: Sky Survival, a mobile game on Google Play.

I really love and enjoy what I do.

How did I get into design?

Cognitive Phase

In 3rd grade, I watched a classmate sketch warships and planes in the back of his notebook, tried it myself, and never stopped. I was hooked on how small details of perspective, scale, and shape give meaning to the bigger picture.

Associative Phase

After graduating with a BS in Computer Science in 2016, I put those drawing skills to work in graphic design contests and landed my first client within a month.

Autonomous Phase

After a year of graphic design, I moved into UX/UI, where design meets my Computer Science background. That's where I've stayed: designing products that are both usable and buildable.
