First, I get to know the goals and vision of the product, working closely with the decision makers and asking a lot of questions.
Second, I map out user flows and wireframes and decide how data will be laid out across screens, working alongside the developers who are setting up the APIs. When deadlines are tight, I wireframe the key screens and modules first, then move to high fidelity once the overall UX direction is agreed.
Third, I move into high-fidelity UI design, where the product gets its look and feel. Where it helps, I build working prototypes in a local dev environment so the team can test real interactions before development starts.

I'm based in Sialkot, Pakistan (PKT, UTC+5) and work remotely. I can comfortably keep 5 hours of overlap with US Eastern and Pacific time zones.

Daily, if needed. I'm happy to join daily stand-ups over Zoom or Google Meet, as long as they're scheduled in advance.

I work directly with the decision makers from start to finish, which keeps me close to the product's vision and scope.
I work in Scrum, track tasks in Jira, and tackle the most complex user stories first in 14-day sprints to reach an MVP quickly.
